School Camp For Primary Students
Explore the amazing collection of pre-1930's historic buildings brought to life at Old Petrie Town. The Old Petrie Town Camp provides primary school students with hands-on learning opportunities to reinforce Australian history curriculum outcomes.
At this primary school camp, students can learn the art of blacksmithing, make their own pottery creation, take a tour of the Pine Rivers Heritage Museum, learn about Indigenous art and participate in cultural workshops at Terry Saleh’s Wantok Multicultural Centre, and much more.
The Old Petrie Town experience is one of the standout primary school camps that align with Australian Curriculum teachings for Grade 2 to Grade 6 students. We are open to all primary schools and are located just 35 minutes from Brisbane.
